The most important one is the 20 GB detachable hard drive, where you can store music, games, trailers, demos among other important data. Additionally, you receive a wireless control, Xbox Live headset, audio/video cable and an Ethernet cable for connecting your Xbox 360 to the net. There are several accessories made by Microsoft and other plethora of authorized accessories manufactured by third parties.

What Additional Accessories Are Available?

Xbox is capable of supporting 4 controllers, both wired and unwired as per the new standard in the industry. The wired gamepads connect to the console through the USB ports that are available in the console or a USB hub. Additionally, a keyboard can be connected, for navigating through the menus.

Game pads aren't the only type of controllers. Driving wheels can be used for games, like Grand Theft Auto 4. Right now you can find the Xbox 360 MC2 Racing Wheel manufactured by Madcatz, a renowned company of PC and console controllers. And in some months, a new wireless driving wheel will be available. It will include an accelerator, pedals and it will have force feedback

Regarding storage, you can buy the removable hard drive as an accessory in case you buy the core system. Additionally, there are memory units that let you save your gaming information like saved games or your Xbox 360 accounts.

Cables & adapters aren't left behind. You can buy Wi-Fi adapters for wireless internet connections, battery packs, recharging units, headsets, high definition audio/video cables, standard audio/video cables and digital VGA cables.

Other accessories are faceplates for changing the looks of your Xbox 360, skin gels for protecting your hand from hours of gameplay, carrying cases for taking your Xbox 360 and a camera for taking pictures of your face and placing them in your avatar.
